J.T. Black

| J.T. Black is a native of Gulfport, Mississippi who believes he was found on the doorsteps in the Mississippi Delta. His love for the blues comes from his childhood, being raised in an apartment above a local juke joint. Although, he was supposed to be studying he would sneak in the juke joint, watching the performers that made the 'chitlin circuit'. J.T learned from such greats as the Legendary E. Rodney Jones and watched performers like John Lee Hooker, Tyrone Davis, Etta James and B.B. King. J.T. Black is now a 15-year veteran of the Blues and has preformed in Europe and many other venues. If you listen carefully you may recognize his voice on several national commercials. |
